First thing I did was weigh myself 3X’s, making sure I placed my feet differently each time, and it weighed me the same, right down to the 10th each time. Also it doesn’t keep the last weighed number in memory, so no matter who weighs next the scale doesn’t flash your weight to them, which makes it a perfect scale for me.

Wow….welcome to the 21rst century! No more changes in the numbers if you get off the scale and get on again…..it is always consistent. I like that, but if you like to jump on and off to get a lower number, don’t order this scale. This will make you honest……so only you can decide if you want to be. nice luck! 🙂

I bought the same product four years ago and it was perfect until it automatically function has gone half a year ago. But the old one is still working just you have to replace the battery every time. Finally I decided to buy a new one, and after comparison I still choose the same style. Because I thought I could believe it, but the fact is I am totally wrong. It is totally a rubbish now. See the pic, it didn’t work at all. No automatic function, no display when you step on it. Also,I found it has been open from the bottom already before. I just don’t understand how such a thing could be produced like this? There is no reputation, no quality control at all. So guys, if you want to buy a scale, never ever choose this one. It is totally a rubbish!

I have never owned a home scale previous to this so I have no basis for comparison. I needed a scale that would continue to read even after getting off so I could use it to weigh myself and my bike to set up suspension. This was one of the few I could find that provided this feature. Step on, wait a few seconds for the scale to stabilize, then step off. The display continues to show the weight for about 5 seconds after stepping off providing enough time for me to set down or get off my bike and see the display.The carry handle is helpful and makes it easy to move and stow away after use.

I had one of these for about 10 years before it started to give the error sign. I tried changing the batteries but to no avail. I love the large display and the backlight which helps to be able to view your weight. Now if it would only help suppress my appetite and help me lose weight that would be really impressive. Yes, I know I need to exercise, eat healther and reduce portion size.

I purchased this item from Amazon. The first one I was sent had a problem with the display. The lower part of it did not appear. So I returned it for another one, which I now have, and it seems to be working fine.I really like the design of these bathroom scales. Very easy to read without needing to bend down, or wear glasses. These scales are very accurate as well. They are very light, and easily movable with the handle at the top.I have owned a number of bathroom scales, some digital, some standard. They haven’t all been well made, and some of them have given very inaccurate readouts, that have varied enormously every time I’ve stepped on them.In contrast, the Taylor scale gives a consistently accurate reading every time.I’m happy that I chose these scales, and I’d recommend them to anyone.

The scale worked when I first used it. Then it didn’t work. Then one day looked in my closet the scale was lit, with no one being in there. Got on the scale and it worked. However, every once in awhile the next two days the scale would light up with no one in there. NOW, IT ISN’T WORKING AGAIN!!!!!!Would like to retrurn this scale and order one that will work a little ” longer”

I just purchased this after buying a WEIGHT WATCHERS SCALE that was a total disappointment, for the WW name! It wouldn’t do anything! I am weary of all the negative reviews on this model and am hoping for 2012, Taylor made improvements. Are there any happy customers with positive reviews here? Taylor, if you’re reading these, can you please help all of us and those to come to your product, what happened to get all these negative reviews? I’m very concerned about my product. I can’t give a point score yet as it just came out of it’s box for the first time. I will follow up.Thank you.2 Months later, I wanted to update. I have had no “real” problem with this scale. The LCD area is the best part, as it is large and clear. Yes, sometimes the numbers flip flop a little, but if you just get on, and then off, and leave your weight there, you will enjoy the scale much more. I have gone off and then back on and agree with some, that it flip flops and at times,it’s frustrating, but after having other scales, this one so far, is fairly accurate, is a nice firm construction, nice weight and a handle. I would buy another one if the need came. I give it 4 stars. If it didnt flip flop from time to time, I’d give it 5. As for the lcd, that is worth a star.

Very bad purchase. It worked perfectly for a month or two, then it started to eat batteries weekly while not in use. I would put in brand new batteries, then they would be dead 4 days later. Then the scale totally stopped working. It is now garbage.
