This air horn is large enough for most applications and it has plenty of “juice” to go a long time. Would recommend and will repurchase when needed.

I purchased this to scare the bears away. It works exactly as it should except the bears are not afraid. Nothing against the “Horn.” Great product. At least our neighbors hear the horn and know the bear(s) are in the area.

I bought this as a joke to scare my wife and HOLY COW, this thing is LOUD. I’m sure that if you bought it as an emergency horn, it would be heard for miles! Oh, and the joke only annoyed her. LOL!

Very Very loud at a cost of using a lot of compressed air. If you are expecting to use this item often, I suggest you plan on having a couple of spare cans or backup air readily available.

Item as described. Easy to put together. Using it to train cats to stay down at barn away from house and road. Works well, very loud.

That is nice and loud so that if you’re lost you have a fighting chance to be found or if you are attached you’ll definitely have a higher chance of surviving your attacker so it is nice for boats and for protection.

I bought this air horn to scare off unwanted Canadian geese from my yard. The geese are a real nuisance, as they crap all over the driveway and lawn. Yesterday I had the opportunity to try it out, as there were 40-50 big Canadian honkers on my front lawn and driveway. I walked outside and pressed the trigger on the air horn for a couple seconds …. the startled geese immediately got up and flew away! Let me tell you, this thing is LOUD! It’s ear-splitting loud. Whatever you do, do NOT aim it at someone’s ear – they will likely suffer a ruptured ear drum. I don’t know how long this can will last, but when it runs out of compressed air I will buy another one. If it can scare off Canadian geese, I’m pretty sure it will scare off just about any other animal.

Used it to train my neighbor’s dog to not bark after 11pm. Worked like a charm after just a few nights, although the neighbor likely had some cleaning up to do after each use.

It leaks at the base soaking your hand with compressed gas occasionally, I tried tightening it, that made it worse, loosened it, that made it worse, some defect of this particular one? Lucky me! or possibly a design defect. It does work fine sometimes which does not make a lot of sense. nice point is that it is loud and effective at chasing the birds away that are drunk on Juniper berries in the fall. It is more effective than another brand i tried.
