Nice damn box!! U wont go wrong! I know u shouldnt do it but even with the sub just sitting in the box and tapping it slightly with my finger tip u can hear the bass resonation. And it sits perfectly in my trunk in either orientation except vertically but who does that?!! I also reinforced the box with Liquid Nails probably not needed but a lil extra is always nice!!This box is the perfect match to the Rockford Fosgate P3D412…when I say bangin for no damn reason? It is Bangin!! Tied to the RF R500X1D. Even at low volumes the bass rolls so sexy. It was suggested to me to turn the box port facing outwards and speaker to the right(no choice for that matter), I didnt think it wud really matter oh boy was I wrong, bass reverberation/reproduction is a whole nother science!!!How is that this box only has 33 reviews? I actually never heard of QBomb, ever, but I will never forget them now!!! Box building scientists!!So glad I found this I am an audiophile and I hate bad sound!!

Like a few of the other reviewers on here, I have a single 12” Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D4 (dual 4ohm voice coils) wired to 2ohms. I have a Kenwood KAC-9106D bridged to 2 ohms for 1,000 watts RMS, 2,000 watts MAX that pushes it well. I’ve been into car audio for the better part of 25 years and have had about every configuration you can think of, from stock equipment to thousands of watts being fed to 15” and 18” subs which break windshields. I wasn’t expecting the world out of my current little system but want it to be the best it can be.I had my 12” Fosgate in a generic pre-fab ported box that sounded okay, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to pick up a box that had the precise air volume that my sub called for, (1.79 cf) so I grabbed the Q-Bomb single 12” version 1.8 cf. If you are even thinking about picking up this box and are reading this review looking for advice, BUY THE BOX. This thing is bananas. My bass is twice as loud as my old box and I haven’t touched my amp settings. All I did was change the box. These things are ridiculously sturdy, clean looking and sounding and unequivocally SLAM. Hard. This is easily the best box I’ve ever had. I’d pay twice the price for these results all day long. I’m extremely happy and completely astonished with it. It’s freaking loud, I’m telling you. Especially if you have a Fosgate P3 or anything with the same airspace requirements. Get it. Do it. You’ll LOVE it.

If you are on a budget and can’t afford to have a custom box built, then this is what I would recommend. They are well built and far surpass the typical cheap slot port prefab boxes you see. I have very limited room in my 2005 GTO and didn’t want to go with one of said typical cheap slot port prefab boxes. I have used several of these in the past with much larger 15s and had nice results so I decided to try one of the 12″ boxes. And it did not disappoint. I am running a Sundown SA-12 d2 on a Sundown 1500d in this box and it sounds pretty nice. I would definitely recommend!

Completely changed how my sub sounds. I have an Alpine Type R sub, wired to 2ohm. Was in a sealed box that was too small and decided to try this box. I tried the Q Bomb 10″ and was impressed, and the 12″ version definitely lives up to my expectations. Sub sounds WAY better, really hits all of the notes well but mostly the lows. Night and day difference box to box, built very well, love the sturdy finish. I’d buy this box even if it was priced higher. This is a BEAST of a box with this sub, and my only regret now is not having my trunk deadened.

Same sub in this box using the same amp kit so much better. Words can’t explain it enough. Just buy it already. Still not convinced? check out the videos I posted for the Rockville W12K9D2 sub and the Rockville RXD M-1.I left reviews for those 2 products here on Amazon and posted 2 videos for each review. The sound is’t great since I recorded it using a cell phone but you’ll be impressed by the amount of vibration the sub/amp/box combo makes. Keep in mind the amp is CEA rated at 500 watts x 1 @ 1 ohm. That’s how it is hooked up. Serious vibration from a $370 .setup. That includes the amp/sub, box, 4g wiring and wire reducers, banana clips and 8 g speaker wire.

nice box. I put a Rockford Fosgate P3D4 12 in it and it sounds great. The lining on the box gives a real durable feel to the box and a great look. Installed in my Kia Rio so it was a nice fit in the trunk of the small car. Anyone looking for a nice box at a nice price I recommend this.

This is a nice box. Its tuned to 38hz not 45. It is however small for a ported box 1.8 cubic feet will result in a slitely higher sound than some people are expecting. That said its still deep and not overly punchy. If your looking for truely deep base you should look for a box with 2.25-3.0 cubic feet of air space.

So I bought this box as a temp one for new car while I build a custom one. I knew it was a prefab and tuned higher than I’d like up around 40hz. So I modified the port some and got it down to low 30s and it’s acceptable for the music I listen to. I’ve got a beast of a sub in the sundown U12 in it on 2k rms and this box is not breaking free so far so it’s built solid compared to other prefabs. Would be great for rock or pop but deep bass in rap or rebased music wouldn’t sound nice at all with the tuning it comes with unmodified.

This isn’t a bad box. But it’s not the best. Money wise you can get a belva box same box size just tuned lower. This one sounds like it’s tuned around 40 hz or higher. The box is also a little on the lighter side which is confusing but considering it’s not a slot vent, there’s less wood and weight. It’ll fit most subs but once you hit the 1,000w Rms range the baskets get a bit big. My American Bass XR 12 fits almost perfect, used soundeadening to seal the gap before I cut the hole bigger
