Use as directed for great results. Makes cases much shinier than walnut media alone. Corn cob works best for polishing but I like this with walnut for one stop shopping. Also helps mitigate media dust.Update: I’ve had this product now for 6months. Did a great job assisting with polishing, until now. The contents are rock solid. I used about 3-4oz and had an absence from reloading. Went to use it and was unable. Switched to Nu Finish for better results, cheaper, dual purpose and if it hardens I won’t be as upset since it’s nearly half the price for twice the volume.

I bought two bottles, one arrived pretty evaporated so was almost solid, the other was still a liquid so with a nice shake/stir was useable. After shaking, I squirted into the media while the vibrating tumbler was on and it just kind of balled up like corncob worms and after several minutes was no better, so I dumped in my brass to help brake it up and a couple hours later it appears the polish was distributed and my brass had a shine. I purchased to remove some brass discolorations due to sitting around in paper boxes etc. and while 3 hours tumbling shined it up, it would take alot more time to clean really dirty brass. I expected better and think that other brands may do better. As for the bottle that showed up dried out, I got no/nada/zero response from the seller. This was the 2nd time this has happened to me in the past few months buying on Amazon where the purchase was not an amazon fullfillment. Won’t be doing that again. Really, a 3 star rating is a mite generous for this product

This is not a review of the brass polish – this is a complaint about getting an already opened bottle from impressive. I’m sure that the polish will be just fine and perform exactly as listed, but I am still aggravated by receiving an opened bottle when I bought new.I realized that the safety seal had been punctured as I was shaking the polish in preparation of using it and noticed that my fingers were wet with the stuff. The image is the package and lid sitting in my sink after I rinsed the bottle and my hands.I do hope that the original buyer is enjoying his free portion of my ‘new’ bottle of polish. (…at least it didn’t leak all over the rest of my order!

Do not purchase this product. My guess the bottles are old. I used the first bottle and only got about 4 -6 rounds of cleaning before the bottle “ran out”. I found more than 50% of the product was hard and dried out.I sent it back as Amazon replaced the first bottle. I just received it and this one is about 35% dried up. Won’t be able to get a full bottle of use out of it.Not worth trying to get another replacement I have lots of brass to get cleaned.Looking for another brand

The media could not be loaded. Â This stuff works hard to make old Tarnished brass look like brand new!We collect brass from all over, and most of it comes completely covered with tarnish. We wash and dry, then add to the vibrating tumbler. With in hours it goes from nasty to new!

Item works, but learning curve was painful. Recommended amount was too small for initial treatment of medium. once saturated, the recommended amount works great. So when I refill my tumble, I know to used more for the initial treatment. (saturate)

I will NEVER buy this product again. It is WAY too expensive for the amount you get and the job it does on the brass.Use regular McGuires ultimate car polish….it is cheaper and does a better job.
