This I really what speaker buyers want to know and can’t seem to find pictures so here they are. The guts are cool to see. I want to see the voice coil, and the magnet, and the crossover. They are tight, and sound nice. There is nothing fancy about the 15” woofer, so there is only one way to check it out and that is to blast it. List wonderful.

Ok, I’ll start by saying I’m no audiophile by any measure, so all the technical sound measurements go way over my head. My ears are not sophisticated enough to detect subtleties that audiophiles enjoy. That said, I’m very satisfied with these speakers. To my ears, they sounds very nice! They certainly can fill a large room or patio with lots of sound and the bass is tons of fun! If you like your music loud with a healthy dose of bass, I think you’ll like these speakers.

These are exactly what I was hoping they would be! I would recommend atleast 150 watts per speaker/channel. I had cerwin Vegas back in the day and I’d say they would compete with the sl12’s.

i HAVE BOUGHT AND SOLD VINTAGE SPEAKERS FOR SOME YEARS NOW , AND HAVE BEEN ON THE LOOK OUT FOR A PAIR OF SPEAKERS THAT COULD RIVAL MY CERWIN-VEGA DX-9’S. NOW LET’S NOT FANTACIZE THAT THESE BIC’S CAN SURPASS THAT SOUND QUALITY BUT… BUT..BUT, THEY COME CLOSE , AND THE PRICE IS A FRACTION OF A NEW SET OF C-V’S WITH 15’S I PUT THESE UP AGAINST MANY OTHER SPEAKERS IN THE $1,00 RANGE AND WATCH MY FREINDS JAWS DROP WHEN I TELL THEM WHAT I PAID. BUY THESE SPEAKERS WITH CONFIDENCE AND THEN GRAB YOUR OLD DEEP PURPLE MADE IN JAPAN LP AND BE TRANSPORTED BACK IN TIME WHEN , THE SOUND OF METAL CRUSHING YOUR BRAIN PAN WAS CALLED ENTERTAINMENT!!

The speakers arrived timely. I ordered them to replace some vintage Pioneers speakers. If you are like me you love BASS with clear mids and crisp highs. I am very impressed by the sound quality and definitely feel I have a great set of speakers for the cost. They hit hard and have that sound I remember as a kid when houses in the neighborhood rocked. You will be happy owning a set.

The more play time they get, the better they sound. Can’t beat the quality of sound for the price. They sound just as nice as my 2 Cerwin Vega 12’s for less than half the price. Great product.
