I’m not much of a Hogue rubber grip fan, but I love these wood grips. I bought these for my 627 V Comp. They fit pretty well, although I did relieve them a bit on the left side for easier reloading. I use them for events where you start from the draw. I don’t always get a perfect grip an a speed draw, so the palm swells are a nice reference for repositioning your grip. I also bought a the set with the single finger groove for my 625PC, and ended up sanding the groove off to match the contour of these grips.The fit, in relation to the frame was pretty nice, especially in the back strap area, where poorly fitting grip can tear up your hand. For the price, they are well worth it.

I don’t like the new rubber grips S&W puts on so i have converted five of them to this still and wished i had known of this one before I did I four with the Jerry Miculek logo ,I would pay a buck or two extra not to have the JM .Very very nice grip.

The grip feels very decent, by the color is completely off from the pictures. I would love the darker one that is shown in the pics

extremely nice fit and finish.This was the finishing touch on a 329So far they have held up to recoil without any cracks

They have a ridge in the center of the grip, this may not fit well for your hand. I do not like it, but others may.

The fit, finish, and overall appearance of the grips are ourstanding. But the palm swell is definitely too much. And while the grips are comfortable when simply dry firing, they provide little support and comfort when firing live ammo; and for felt recoil.

The color wasn’t as pictured which with wood products isn’t out of the ordinary. The color reminded me of the wood from a 1970’s record player. I could have lived with that but the fit was terrible. After trying to make several adjustments, I gave up and returned them.
